After the first burst of declaring the brand and achieving various activities on the digital platform – Cadbury Oreo India recently celebrated the Diwali.

Oreo India has really been treasured by member of the social network – Facebook. The Fan page now cherishes 7 lakh fans. The activities & posts run by the community are quite engaging and is observing positive feedback.

Recently, Cadbury Oreo India Facebook page celebrated the amazing festival of lights, ‘Diwali’ in a stylish manner. The page hosted a landing tab for fans to create their own beautiful ‘Kandils’ (Lanterns) and share them across with their friends on Facebook. The marvelous tab – “Oreo-de-light” helped fans to make gorgeous lanterns in a variety of styles & colors. The 3D concept was very unique and observed a stunning response from the fans. On the tab - 3D kandils can be created with your desired style & color. Also we can add a personalized message or greeting along our Kandil and share it across with our friends & family. The concept was really creative and one of its kind.

Cadbury Oreo India on Facebook grew along with all the Oreo lovers in the country. It all started with Cadbury Oreo India Togetherness Movement - They were the first to introduce the concept of ‘Togetherness time’ in India. Oreo conducted India’s first ‘Togetherness Survey’, Conducted along with AC Nielsen, which revealed interesting facts about how Indian families viewed family relationships and family time. The survey measured the ‘Togetherness Quotient’ of Indian families and encouraged them to pledge more time to their families, and kids.

Soon after this survey, Oreo announced a series of initiatives to help boost parent-child bonding in India, with initiatives such as ‘Oreo Togetherness Bus’. Also – Cadbury Oreo India on Facebook celebrated Oreo Friendship week to encourage bonding among all age groups. The main initiative of celebrating the Friendship week was to bring all friends together by sharing “Special Cadbury Oreo e-cards” with them. The E-cards were treasured by youth over Facebook as well as the e-mail form was popular for people responsive on e-mail. The simple idea was to recreate that special bond of friendship amongst each and every member of the Facebook community.

The activities conducted by Cadbury Oreo India page on Facebook will positively connect youth and parents across the country and present them with unique opportunities to create unforgettable moments of togetherness.
